Deep Within (Erevis Cale)

Annamika sat in the middle of the Labyrinth, gazing at its gargoyle looking statues that always seem alive to the eye. She knows the truth, she was the one who placed them here to protect it. Black, red, and white roses grew in the middle of the maze along its walls. Annamika always came here for piece and quiet since many knew not how to get here... Well... she is pretty sure there is 1 or 2 that may show up but she wouldn't mind depending on who it is.

*shadows swirl beside Anna, and as she look to her side, the shadows dissipate, leaving Erevis standing there looking forward at the gargoyles, which then seem to come to life slowly approaching him and he looks down at Annamika*
sister.... would you care for the honours *points at the gargoyles*

*She couldn't help but to laugh as the creatures continued their advanced on her brother.* Ebony and Ivory, its alright. He is family. (( lol, yes, yes i did name the 2 gargoyles after Dante's guns from Devil May Cry.))
*Ebony and Ivory did a slight bow with their heads before returning to their resting place. She approached her brother and gave him a hug.* How are you today?

Jessie had spent the day wandering about a bit more when she came across a labyrinth. She'd heard of them before, but had never quiet ran across one in real life. A smile formed to her lips instantly as her adventurous streak kicked in.
As would be expected Jessie found herself lost within the labyrinth within a short time. She left as if she was going merely in circles, which was a highly frustrating thing. Jessie's keen sense of hearing soon picked up voices on the wind. Once she had targeted the direction they came from it did not take much longer to travel and find whom these voices belonged to.
Jessie stood at the doorway leading into the center of the labyrinth looking in at the two people. Apparently they hadn't notice her yet. "Excuse me...," Jessie spoke up as she walked in, "Perhaps one of your two could help me?" Jessie then noticed two of the gargoyle's came to life and started approaching her. She stopped immediately and prepaired to draw her daggers.

*sets Anna on the ground standing up and laughs as i look up to see her face* do please underestimate me Sis, again,
*laughs and smiles then stops as i hear the gargoyles come to life again and i look around seeing them advance upon a strange looking figure, and just before they attack, the figure, i use my powers to step through the shadows, appearing behind the figure, whom i discern as female by her body shape, and grab hold of her and step through the shadows taking her away just as a gargoyle paw smashes into the the spot she was before and we appear beside my sister*

Jessie was to busy gaugeing the gargoyal's approch on her to notice Erevis appear behind her. She was not certain what to think when she was dragged back into the shadows to appear elsewhere. Truthfully, she was so startled and confused that she could not resist struggling to get free of the man who had saved her, without thinking of course. "What the heck? How'd you do that? Let me go!"

Annamika took a step forward and raised a hand, calming the gargoyles who eyed Jessie. After making sure they went back to their place, she turned to the new comer who was released by her brother. "Its alright, he was only trying to help you... Thank you Erevis." Looking back at Jessie now. "I have never seen you before in this land so you must be new. Did you arrive today?" Anna sat back down on the bench so that she wouldn't have to look down the whole time at everyone. She looked to the new comer, her attention on her. At the same time, she was plotting fun revenge at her brother who she winked at.

Jessie shot a glance towards Erevis before looking at Annamika. She looked her up and down to gaudge her before she crossed her arms. "I arrived here.. a few days ago. So yeah.. I'm new around here. But while we're talking about this... where exactly IS here?"
